Your Second Visit to Our Redwood City Practice
After the doctor has studied your health history, analyzed your films, and correlated your examination findings, he will review the X-rays with you and discuss expectations about your relief and recovery. During this visit, you will receive your first spinal correction. The adjustment is painless with no popping or twisting of the spine. Each adjustment experience and healing response is unique to the individual. People describe feeling various sensations such as: lighter, looser, clearer, easier breathing, more balanced, etc…
After Your Adjustment
The doctor will take post X-rays after the first adjustment and then ask you to rest in a recliner for at least fifteen minutes. Depending on your physical changes and/or the changes on the post X-rays, additional spinal corrections may be done to insure the quality and quantity of the NUCCA spinal correction. One thing you can be certain of, you will walk out of the office better than what you were when you walked in.
The second appointment takes one to one and one half hours. When combined with the consultation/exam (First Visit) all done in the same day, total time is two to three hours. Click here to learn what you can expect on regular visits...
